How do you stay updated on the latest food trends and social media content strategies?
I stay updated on the latest trends and social media strategies through a mix of daily research (scrolling!), community engagement, and hands-on experimentation. I monitor trending content across platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and Pinterest, paying close attention to how creators are framing stories visually and narratively.
Beyond research, I constantly test trends in my own content to understand what drives engagement in real time! My background in editorial strategy at eHow, Flings Toaster Pastries, etc. has trained me to not just follow trends, but to shape original content that's authentic, culturally relevant, and aligned with brand voice. I also stay tapped into niche creator communities and industry events to keep my approach both fresh and forward-thinking.
