Share a time when you've been able to mobilize a group of people around a product, service, or cause you feel passionate about?

A time I was able to get my entire city involved in a cause I am passionate about was when it was the height of the pandemic and my local hospital was running low on supplies and was overflowing with work. I was inspired by seeing Sean Lew on Youtube make care packages for his local hospital. I thought what if I did something for my own city. That is when the Sean Lew Project, a non profit project I founded began. I reached out to 2 of my close friends to get things started then began making as many phone calls to city officials and local small businesses across the city in search of help to donate to the Lehigh Valley Hazleton Hospital. I was able to get middle schools across the district to hand make thank you cards, seamstresses from across the country mailing in masks, and 13 local business donated food and PPE, there was also a lot of other donations from community members as well. We also hosted a caravan of support for our frontline workers and spread the love to our local cancer centers as well. I organized and put together all location drop offs and communicated with everyone involved to ensure that it went smoothly. I never thought that my small instagram post would help me feed a staff of 500 people and everyone received a thank you card.
