What's a non-work-related interest or skill that has helped you Professionally?
One interest of mine that’s helped me professionally is my experience as a volleyball player in high school and university. Playing volleyball really taught me the value of teamwork, staying disciplined, and being adaptable. In both sports and work, you need to work well with others, adjust to changes quickly, and keep your focus under pressure. Whether it’s collaborating on a creative project or juggling multiple tasks with tight deadlines, those lessons have stuck with me and I bring them to my work every day.

What's Your favorite project you've worked on and why? (ex. what were the steps involved? Did you collaborate with others? What roadblocks did you run into and how did you solve them?)
My favorite project so far was my thesis for my graduate certificate in Multiplatform Storytelling, where I developed an original concept and presented a full proof-of-concept trailer at the end of the semester. With only three months to prepare, I had to quickly create the trailer and also plan a pitch on how the project could sell and succeed in the future. One of the biggest roadblocks was managing such a tight timeline while balancing all the stages of development: storyboarding, production, editing, and pitch planning—alongside other coursework. To overcome this, I relied on strong production and project management skills, creating a detailed timeline with key milestones, prioritizing tasks, and maintaining open communication with everyone involved to ensure everything stayed on track. My classmates were highly engaged with the idea, so I was able to get almost everyone involved in some capacity, whether through collaboration, feedback, or helping with the production. In the end, it was incredibly rewarding to present a polished, well-thought-out trailer and pitch that I felt truly proud of :)

How do you ensure consistency in brand messaging AND VISUALS across various creative assets?
To keep brand messaging and visuals consistent across different assets, I always start by following brand guidelines carefully. In that way, everything from the color palette to the tone of voice feels cohesive and on-brand. I also like to create a content strategy that keeps our main messages and goals aligned across all channels, so each piece really contributes to the overall brand story.
For visuals, I lean on templates and design systems, which make it way easier to keep everything looking unified and professional without reinventing the wheel every time. Plus, it saves me a ton of time!
Collaboration is also key. I make sure to stay in sync with the rest of the team, whether it’s design, marketing, or content, so we’re all aligned on the project goals and can catch any inconsistencies early on. And I find it super helpful to do regular audits of all content; this way, I can spot any little things that might have slipped through and adjust as needed.
Finally, while we stick to brand guidelines, I’m also adaptable. Every platform has its quirks, so I focus on the brand’s core elements while tweaking the format or approach slightly to make it fit the platform best. It’s all about making sure every asset feels cohesive and true to the brand while also being effective for each specific audience.
