An example of a successful social media campaign I have helped manage is working with non-profits through my student run advertising firm "North Road Communications" at Marist University. In the Fall of 2024, I worked with the non-profit organization, "Beacon Free Loop", a free transportation service available in Beacon, New York. It provides a convenient way for people to travel around the town, stopping at different places like downtown Beacon, The train station, and other popular spots. In our firm, I worked on a team with four other people to help advertise the bus and make it more accessible for people. We used canva and the adobe suite to create different instagram and Facebook posts promoting the new app, when the bus would run, and different holiday events. In the past, North Road Communications helped design the logo, and design what the busses would look like. I feel so honored to have been apart of something like that!

A woman that really inspires me is Irina Shayk. Shayk is a model and actress who came from humble beginnings, and has had incredible success. In Russia, she was raised by a piano teacher and coal miner, so she never came from a world of luxury. What really inspires me about her is that she never started out intending to be a model. First, she studied marketing and had a dream of becoming a teacher. Her story reminds me that sometimes, even the most unexpected paths can lead to unexpected opportunities. Despite her fame now, she still remains grounded and has a huge involvement in charity work. I have always struggled in truly believing in myself, and Irina's story shows me that successs is built on resilience, versatility and the courage to pursue your passions. I love that she shows that it is still possible to stay true to yourself even while achieving great things.
