How would you promote a discount for late night Eats on campus?
I’d promote a late-night Eats discount on campus by leaning into real student behavior and making the content feel like a “this is for you right now” moment rather than a traditional ad. First, I’d create short, relatable TikToks showing common late-night campus situations—studying at 1 a.m., post-party cravings, or friends debating what to order—then reveal the solution with Uber Eats and the discount as the “save.” The hook would be something like: “It’s 2AM on campus… you already know what time it is.”

How would you engage a new audience for a brand on TikTok?
To engage a new audience for a brand on TikTok, I’d focus on making content feel native to the platform first—meaning it should blend into trends, not feel like traditional advertising. I would start by identifying trending sounds, formats, and challenges, then adapt them to the brand in a subtle, creative way rather than forcing product placement. For example, using humor, relatable “day in the life” scenarios, or quick problem–solution videos that naturally introduce the product. I’d also prioritize strong hooks in the first 1–2 seconds, since retention is key on TikTok. Content like “you’re using this wrong…” or “this changed my routine…” tends to stop scrolling. To build community, I’d actively engage in comments, reply with video responses, and encourage user-generated content through challenges or prompts. Finally, I’d test multiple content styles consistently, analyze what performs best, and double down on those formats to grow reach organically.
