How do you try to meet people after graduating college?

I've been looking into joining Facebook/Geneva groups to find people with similar interests. I'm a ~very~ recent grad and I'm trying to fight the "post-grad blues"

Rowing Blazers

Creative Content Associate

Rowing Blazers Profile Image

What in your portfolio best speaks to the Rowing Blazer aesthetic and why are you most proud of that work?

The Clinique section of my portfolio speaks best to the Rowing Blazer aesthetic. Working with Clinique was a unique experience in that I was truly able to use my creative judgment in creating campaigns. One of my favorite opportunities was meeting with the head of Estée Lauder archives and learning about the origins of Clinique. After the meeting, ambassadors were tasked with creating a social media post to showcase the ethos and history of Clinique. I decided to go a “non-traditional route” and tasked myself with basing my social media post on work by Irving Penn (who worked on Clinique’s early campaigns). I researched vintage makeup campaigns and aesthetics to plan my vision. I then set up a studio inside of a bathroom in my sorority house (where I was living at the time), watched tutorials on vintage makeup/hair, had a friend hold my camera for a few shots, and finally edited my photos. When first planning out my campaign, I was nervous that it wouldn't succeed (and would be considered too "out there"), but I decided to take the risk. I was proud of my work because it was different, yet still true to the brand of Clinique and my aesthetics. When I think of Clinique, I think of timeless elegance— similar to Rowing Blazers. I am proud of my work with Clinique because I carefully blended ideas of current trends and aesthetics while maintaining Clinique’s innovative spirit. If you were the marketing manager for Poparazzi, describe where you would focus the majority of your resources for a fall launch on your campus?

Where do we see Paparazzi the most? Following the rich and famous on glamorous red carpet events. I would bring the glamour to the campus. Hosting a kickoff event at a tailgate or local bar would be the perfect location to get people to download the app while having fun.
