I have been working alongside the State Bank of India (SBI) to collate data related to Indias economical growth and development. During this, I had to go through 150+ rows of data so that I could organise them into excel sheets for upcoming products. Moreover, I had to work towards converting these data sets so that they could be used for financial and economic growth analysis.

Our product enables e-commerce brands to personalize their website (images + text) to every visitor. What would you imagine are some different ways to segment visitors that a brand may want to use to personalize, and why?

Personalising a website's content and images to each visitor is a powerful strategy to enhance user experience and drive engagement. I personally would segment a brands visitors based on various criteria’s to tailor their messaging and visuals effectively. For instance segmenting by demographics such as age, gender, location, and language can help deliver content that resonates with specific groups. For example, if a brand has products geared towards a younger demographic, they can showcase trendy images and use language that appeals to that age group. Furthermore responding to visitors' indicated interests and preferences by showcasing tailored product recommendations or content fosters a sense of individualisation and understanding. The above two are just one of many criteria’s I would imagine are criteria’s to focus on when segmenting visitors that a brand may want to use to personalise.

When reviewing a product it is important to understand what purpose it fulfills or what problem it strives to solve. By understanding this I would be able to evaluate exactly how efficient this product is in achieving its goal.
