I’d try to go for a method that doesn’t seem like it’s an advert. As someone who’s apart of gen-z, we usually get thrown off by constant adverts, but being able to showcase something that seems like it’s achievable without actually making it an over the top advert, I believe can draw viewers in.

First I would try calming them down and having just a civil discussion and explaining to them that what they’re doing is wrong and can lead to a consequence they might not like. It’s always better to try a softer approach at first. Of course, if this doesn’t work then my best option is to either mute them, or remove them from the call depending on the severity. Apologising to others if it is a group hiring call is something I’d also do as I understand it’s something that can be uncomfortable for other people to witness.

In my opinion, as someone who usually gets influenced with beauty products, I would say tiktok and instagram. Many people use tiktok these days as a source of being influenced to purchase things as well as instagram.
