SDR for Head of Growth
What's a time when you failed at something but through grit and determination became successful at it?
One example that left the greatest impact on me was my senior year of high school. I had high hopes of being accepted to Brown University and though I revised my application time and time again, I was rejected as an Early Decision Applicant. Of course, I was crushed. I believed it was where I was meant to be and never even considered another option. However, it took this heavy blow for me to realize that I was working half as hard as I should have been. My goal had remained to leave my home state for college and in order for this to be done, I needed to really put in my all for the next few weeks. Through countless of hours in coffee shops, typing and retyping dozens of essays to dozens of universities, my hard work finally paid off when I was accepted to Northeastern University as an Honors student. Overall, this event taught me to put my energy into making things happen rather than hoping they will.
