UGC CONTENT – Summer of Love Perfume Mists

How would you capture the essence of a fragrance in a short video?
I would focus on translating the feeling and mood of the fragrance into visuals rather than just showing the bottle itself. Since audiences can’t physically smell a fragrance through a screen, I think the goal is to create an atmosphere that makes them imagine the scent and the lifestyle associated with it. For the Summer of Love Perfume Mists, I’d lean into warm, nostalgic summer visuals, golden hour lighting, movement, outdoor moments, getting ready scenes, beach or travel-inspired clips, and soft close-up details that feel dreamy and effortless. I’d also use music, pacing, and editing style to match the energy of the scent.

What inspires your creative process when making content?
My creative process usually starts with the feeling or lifestyle a product represents rather than just the product itself. Especially with fragrance, I think people connect most to mood, atmosphere, and storytelling. For something like the Summer of Love Perfume Mists, I’d think about the emotions and visuals the scents evoke , summer nostalgia, golden hour, beach days, getting ready with friends, travel, or carefree everyday moments. From there, I build content around scenes that feel aspirational but still authentic and relatable. I also pull inspiration from TikTok and Reels trends, fashion/editorial visuals, music, Pinterest moodboards, and creator-style storytelling. I like combining elevated visuals with content that still feels natural to the platform, because that’s what tends to resonate most with audiences right now. At the same time, I always think about what would make someone stop scrolling in the first few seconds, whether that’s lighting, movement, a relatable hook, or creating a sensory experience through visuals and editing.
