I carry a portable fan almost every where I go. Living in Austin, the heat is on another level. I have a mini fan that I carry with me on campus, in lecture, at concerts, in car rides, at football games, etc. This fan has been the biggest conversation starter ever. People will stop me to ask where its from or tell me how useful it is. A connection I have made through it is when I was at a concert and the girl next to me seemed very hot. There was sweat on her face since we were in a packed ACL crowd. I reached over, handed her my mini fan, and she looked at me like I saved her life. I let her hold on to it for about 10 minutes, and we had a great conversation after.
