When reviewing a product, it is important to consider it's impact and applicability for not only on yourself, but on other potential users. Since a product review should consider the needs of all users, product reviews should be well rounded and contain several main components: product overview & introduction, user experience, and strengths and weaknesses. While evaluating these main categories, as a reviewer, I strive to be objective and detailed, but also personal. When I read or evaluate reviews, I want to be able to step into the writer's shoes to see how the product purchased would impact me. I feel that this personal touch and understanding creates a stronger connection with the product and a greater potential for the purchaser to visualize the positive effect the product will have.
