What strategies would you use to spread the word about MicroMint on campus?
I’d focus on channels where students already spend time instead of trying to reach everyone at once. First, I’d use group chats, student clubs, and friends to build a small core group, since people are more likely to join if someone they know is already in. Then I’d use simple social posts or short updates showing progress, like how much we’ve saved as a group, to create curiosity. I’d also tap into student orgs or events to introduce it as a quick, low-commitment challenge. The goal is to make it feel social and easy to try, not like something being advertised.

How would you motivate your peers to join a savings circle?
I’d motivate peers by making it feel social and low-pressure, not like a finance app. I’d start with group chats I’m already in and frame it as a simple challenge, like saving a small amount together for 30 days. Instead of pushing the app, I’d position it as ‘let’s try this together’ and create a small circle with close friends first. Once we have some progress, I’d share results to spark interest and bring in others.
