How do you research trends and come up with ideas for short-form content?
I research trends by checking TikTok, Instagram Reels, and LinkedIn daily, along with creator pages, brand accounts, and what people are engaging with in comments. I look for repeated formats, hooks, sounds, and topics that are gaining traction, then I save patterns in a running idea bank. From there, I turn trends into content ideas by asking: what is the hook, how can we make it brand-relevant, and what would stop someone from scrolling?
