Interview Questions

Campus Ambassador Program

How would you onboard your peers onto a new platform?
I would onboard my peers onto a new platform by focusing on simplicity, relatability, and immediate value, while tying it back to real opportunities like the Campus Ambassador Program with College Collective Co. I’d introduce it in a very personal way—sharing how getting involved in brand campaigns has directly impacted me. As a micro-influencer, I’ve earned over $2,250 in brand deals within a single year, and that started from simply being open to opportunities like this.I’d frame it as:“I didn’t start with a huge platform, but programs like this helped me gain experience, build my portfolio, and actually get paid while in college.”From there, I’d walk peers through a quick, low-effort onboarding process, either in person or through a short demo, showing how easy it is to sign up and start engaging with campaigns. I’d emphasize that platforms like this aren’t just about influencing—they’re about building real-world skills in marketing, content creation, and brand partnerships that translate directly into internships and careers.I’d also leverage my existing communities—group chats, classes, student orgs, and networks like the Regents Overnight Host Program—to share the platform in trusted spaces. Encouraging peers to join together (“we should all apply and try this”) helps create momentum and makes it feel less intimidating. Overall, my approach is to make onboarding feel like a real opportunity I’ve personally benefited from, not just something I’m promoting—showing that even as a student, you can start building experience, income, and career-ready skills right now.

How would you engage your campus community to effectively promote a brand?
I would engage my campus community by combining in-person connection, social content, and trusted peer networks to make the brand feel like a natural part of student life—not an ad. I’d also leverage my existing communities—group chats, student orgs like LBSA, the Regents Overnight Host Program, and my classes to share opportunities in a more personal way. When people hear about something through someone they know, they’re much more likely to engage, try it, and share it further. On the digital side, I’d use my platform and social media to create relatable, student-first content—showing how the brand fits into real college life (academics, internships, going out, budgeting, etc.). My style is very “big sister advice,” so it feels like I’m putting people on, not selling to them. If possible, I’d also create interactive touch points—like quick surveys or QR codes to encourage participation and gather feedback in real time. This not only increases engagement but also provides valuable insights into what students actually want.
