How long (Generally) does it take you to create a piece of video content?

It really depends on the type of content, but I can usually turn around a solid piece in under a day. For simple posts - like trending audio with product shots or quick lifestyle content - I can knock those out in a couple of hours from concept to posted.

For more well-thought-out pieces, brainstorming and filming may take the longest usually 3-5 hours, depending on the piece. Yet, my edditing turnover is quick within 2-3 hours.

How do you stay updated on the latest social media trends and adapt them into your content creation strategy?

I'm constantly on social media anyway, so I've turned that into part of my strategy. I spend time each morning checking what's trending on TikTok, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, etc, not just scrolling mindlessly, but actually noting what's gaining traction. The key for me is being selective. Not every trend may fit my brand, so I look for ones that feel authentic to what we're already doing. When I spot something that could work, I brainstorm how to put my own twist on it rather than just copying what everyone else is doing. I've learned that timing matters a lot; jumping on trends too late means you're just noise. But jumping on too early or on the wrong trends can look forced. I keep a running list of ideas that could work for different types of trending content, so when the right moment hits, I can move quickly. What really helps is tracking what actually works for different audiences versus what just feels trendy. Some trends that blow up everywhere may fall flat, while others that seem smaller end up performing really well. That data helps me get better at spotting which trends are worth my time.
