How would you engage audiences for art?
To engage audiences for art, I focus on storytelling and creating emotional connections. Art isn’t just about visuals—it’s about the stories behind the pieces, the emotions they evoke, and the artist’s unique perspective. I’d share behind-the-scenes content showing the creative process, artist insights, and the inspiration behind each work. I’d also use interactive formats like polls, Q&As, and challenges that invite the audience to participate and share their own interpretations or experiences with the art.
Using Instagram Reels and TikTok, I’d create short, visually striking videos that highlight details, textures, or transformations in the artwork, paired with trending sounds to reach wider audiences. Ultimately, it’s about making the audience feel involved and inspired—not just spectators but part of the art’s journey.

Can you provide an example of a successful social media campaign you've managed in the past?
One successful social media campaign I managed was during my time as President of Crafts for a Cause, where I created flyers, social media posts, and event promotions to raise awareness and boost participation in craft fundraisers supporting local charities.
I used Canva to design bright, inviting graphics that matched the warm, community-focused vibe of the cause. The campaign included countdown posts, behind-the-scenes looks at the crafting process, and spotlight features on the charities benefiting from the funds raised. By mixing engaging visuals with clear calls to action, we saw a noticeable increase in event attendance and social media engagement.
I think it worked because the content felt personal and authentic—people could see the impact their participation would make, and the visuals made it easy and fun to share with their friends and family.

How do you stay updated with the latest social media trends and algorithm changes?
I keep up with social media trends by actively spending time on the platforms—browsing Reels, TikToks, and popular Instagram posts to observe what content is gaining traction, which sounds are trending, and how creators are putting their own spin on things. I also follow industry experts and content creators who analyze trends and explain why they work. Whenever possible, I experiment with new formats and styles myself to find what fits best with the brand and audience I’m working with. For me, it’s all about staying curious, testing ideas, and learning from the results.
