Can you provide examples of successful user-generated content campaigns you've worked on in the past?
One example of a successful user-generated content campaign I helped lead was during my time running my sorority’s Instagram. We encouraged our members to post organic content from our events, tag our chapter, and use branded hashtags. This helped boost our visibility and showcase the authentic sisterhood experience from multiple perspectives. It created a lot of buzz and engagement on social media, especially during recruitment season. As a result, we ended up ranking first in terms of interest, with the most PNMs wanting to join our chapter, which I believe was largely influenced by the positive online presence and peer-driven content.

How do you stay current with social media trends and algorithm changes?
I stay current with social media trends and algorithm changes by actively managing two different accounts: my sorority’s Instagram, which I previously ran, and a fitness club’s social media for my current internship. Through both, I’ve learned to keep a close eye on trending audio, popular post formats, and what types of content drive the most engagement. I regularly explore TikTok and Instagram Reels to see what's gaining traction and follow a few creators and strategists who share updates about algorithm shifts. I also track post performance to see how reach and engagement are affected, and I adjust our content strategy accordingly, whether that means jumping on a trend quickly or experimenting with timing and captions.
