Can you share a previous experience where you effectively represented a brand at a trade show or similar event?
While my background is in politics rather than traditional trade shows, I regularly serve as the public-facing liaison for elected officials, representing them to constituents at a wide range of public events, town halls, and community forums. In these roles, I essentially “represent the brand” of the politician or office, acting as the first point of contact for attendees and ensuring everyone has a positive, informative experience. For example, at large community events, I am responsible for welcoming guests, answering questions, sharing information, and helping people understand how our office can address their needs. I focus on listening closely to concerns, communicating clearly and positively, and always making the constituent feel heard and valued. I’m often tasked with managing a high volume of interactions, staying organized and personable even when things are busy. These skills, being approachable, knowledgeable, and adaptable in fast-paced, high-energy settings, translate directly to representing a brand at a trade show. I know how to engage with a diverse audience, keep conversations focused on key messages, and make sure everyone walks away with a great impression.

How do you approach engaging with consumers in a high-energy event environment?
In a high-energy event environment like a trade show, I focus on being approachable, upbeat, and genuinely interested in connecting with each person I meet. My goal is to make every interaction feel personal and memorable, even in the middle of a busy crowd. I like to greet attendees with a friendly smile and positive attitude, making eye contact and starting with a simple question or compliment to break the ice. I also pay close attention to the energy of the event, matching the excitement while making sure not to overwhelm anyone. I keep my communication clear and engaging, using quick, hands-on demos or interactive activities to draw people in and keep them interested. I listen actively to what consumers are looking for, so I can tailor my conversation and highlight the FocusFuel features that best fit their needs. Throughout the event, I encourage participation, whether that’s joining a live demo, entering a giveaway, or snapping a photo to share on social media. Most importantly, I stay adaptable and attentive, so I can read the crowd and adjust my approach as needed, making sure everyone feels welcome and energized by their experience at our booth.

What Community events would you bring Skinny Mixes into?
I would love to incorporate Skinny Mixes into a variety of community events to help more people discover how fun and versatile they are. I could see Skinny Mixes being a huge hit at local farmers markets or pop-up shops, where people could sample different flavors in their coffee, tea, or mocktails. I’d also love to collaborate with local gyms or wellness studios by offering Skinny Mixes at fitness classes or wellness events, like creating post-workout smoothies, protein shakes, or fun hydration stations. Hosting brunch or coffee socials at community centers, book clubs, or apartment complexes would be another great way to let people try DIY coffee or mimosa bars using Skinny Mixes. I also think Skinny Mixes would be a fun addition to charity fundraisers, school events, or meetings, where I could set up a drink station to introduce the brand to families and supporters in an interactive way. Plus, I’d organize girls’ nights or themed parties, like movie or game nights, where everyone could build their own drinks with Skinny Mixes and share their creations on social media. I’d make sure to document these events on my platforms by sharing behind-the-scenes content, live videos, and community shoutouts so the excitement carries over online, too!
