Art gives me something to apprecaite merely for the sake of appreciating, along with emotional and intellectual benefits. Art gives me space to get in touch with my emotions, and also challenge myself intellectualy. Perhaps most important for me though, is the way art can be used as a social connection. Whether it is simply by consuming and learning about someone else's art, and the connection you can create with the artist themselves, or how art can be used to create connections with other people.
