Interview Questions
Drink Koia
Koia Marketing Intern

Can you describe a time when you effectively represented a brand at an event?
Last year, I volunteered at a local wellness festival to represent a sustainable skincare brand as part of a campus initiative. My goal was to introduce attendees to the brand's mission and products in a way that felt approachable, not salesy. I set up a clean, inviting booth and offered product samples while chatting with people about their skincare routines, what ingredients mattered to them, and how sustainability fit into their lifestyle.
I noticed that many were drawn in by simple, visual demos—so I improvised a “build your own routine” setup with testers, letting guests mix and match products based on their skin needs. That personal touch led to longer conversations, lots of social shares, and even a few people returning with friends. The brand ended up selling out of two products that day, and the rep I worked with mentioned how surprised they were by the level of engagement and feedback we received.
It showed me how combining storytelling with genuine interaction can turn a booth into a brand experience—and I’d bring that same energy to Koia.

How would you engage with event attendees to create a positive brand experience?
At events, I’d focus on creating an authentic, feel-good experience that reflects Koia’s energy and values. I’d approach attendees with a warm smile and genuine curiosity, offering samples while starting light, engaging conversations—not just about the product, but about their lifestyle, preferences, or what they’re excited about at the event.
To keep the interaction memorable, I’d highlight Koia’s unique selling points (like plant-based protein and clean ingredients) in a fun, relatable way—think “this one’s like dessert, but good for you!” If they enjoy the product, I’d gently encourage a social post or story with our hashtag for some Koia swag or discounts, turning that moment into online buzz.
Ultimately, it’s about making Koia not just a drink they tried, but a brand they remember—and want to keep in their fridge.
