What products do you think are disrupting beauty?
I would say that the era of the "iconic" is reemerging. What does this mean? That currently the most desirable things are those labeled as iconic. Now the semantic value of the word "iconic" in the current world is debatable but somehow, as a marketing strategy it works. A great example of this is the RHODE lip peptides with its matching phone cases or SKIMS new nipple push-up bra. Now, did you think that these are two basic examples? Well if the answer is yes that is because they are. In my view, the reason why these products work and were sold out almost immediately can be attributed to 3 main things: irreverence, source and marketing. These are the products that have the capacity to disrupt beauty, those who, through a mix of carefully planned strategy and irreverence break the markets. Moreover, I want to highlight the growth of personalized beauty products, for which its success can be attributed to the human desire to feel special. Access something tailored to the individual, in an accessible way. With these two worlds combined, the beauty industry is increasingly changing!

do you have experience analyzing sales data?
Not digitally, I have volunteered to work with my previous bosses in hospitality to analyse sales data because is something I am passionate about. This provided me with lots of insights but it was more recently, with my Google Analytics Certification that I was able to further understand this industry, particularly within the digital space.
