Tattd
Tattoo Industry Marketing Intern

How would you promote a niche app like Tattd on social media?
1. Identify Research social media platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook, where tattoo artists and influencers actively post their work. Look for engagement metrics (likes, comments, shares) rather than just follower count, to find creators with active and authentic audiences. Use hashtags and niche communities relevant to tattoos or lifestyle trends (#tattooartist, #inked, #customtattoos) to discover emerging talent. Check previous collaborations or partnerships to assess if they align with the brand’s image. 2. Approach Personalize outreach messages: mention specific work you admire or why they are a good fit for the brand. Clearly state the value proposition, whether it’s compensation, exposure, or collaboration opportunities. Use professional but friendly communication—either via DM, email, or platform-specific contact forms. Follow up respectfully if there’s no initial response, showing persistence without being pushy. This approach ensures that outreach is targeted, authentic, and likely to result in meaningful collaborations.
