I listen to music in almost every scenario. Whether I am doing homework, feeling overstimulated, trying to fall asleep, anxious, or angry, music helps me process whatever I am going through. It is there for me in the background and in the foreground, amplifying joy, softening pain, and giving rhythm to moments when words alone are not enough. Without music in my day-to-day life, my world would lack so much life and color.

"Daylight" by David Kushner makes me feel like I am standing in the wreckage of something I loved, with the sun finally rising on all the things I tried to bury. It is the ache of knowing the truth and the calm that comes after you stop running from it. It breaks me open gently, like it understands the weight I carry and for a moment, I feel seen in the quiet chaos of it all.

Yes, I do. I have been passionate about music from a young age. I became interested in the piano when I was in kindergarten and took formal lessons from first to eighth grade. I was always one of the top students with each piano teacher I had. Although I stopped lessons during the pandemic, my love for the instrument still remains. I play and can read sheet music fluently. In addition to piano, I am self taught in both the ukulele and guitar. I also enjoy singing and analyzing musical choices, especially lyrics and arrangements. During the pandemic, I wrote many original songs and collaborated with a close friend who studied audio production at Full Sail University. Through that experience, I learned a lot about the creative and technical sides of making music, which deepened my appreciation even more.
