Influencer Marketing Intern
Can you describe a successful influencer marketing campaign you were involved in?
In my recent role I was involved in a influencer marketing campaign with an up and coming creator. The brand I worked for was primarily focused on lip products and this influencer was beauty-obsessed. She had been known to have favorite lip products in the past that were discontinued. Her followers also aligned perfectly with our target demographic. I reached out about a partnership and she was so excited to accept. When she began promoting the brand's products, it was an immediate success. I continued building the relationship with her and when the brand launched on Tik Tok Shop, her videos allowed sales to increase dramatically each time she posted. Her followers became loyal customers and the campaign was a huge success.

How do you approach identifying the right influencers for a campaign?
I do this by first looking at the influencer's audience! Does their audience align with our target market? If so, it could be a good fit. However, I also consider the reach and engagement of the influencer. Is it the size we are looking for? And finally, would the collaboration just simply make sense for the influencer and their audience? Once these factors are determined I reach out to the influencer!
