I am deeply passionate about Home From College because I recognize the immense value that opportunities can have in the lives of young people. At Avalara, I managed a project that involved analyzing 800 customer support cases to identify areas where our service fell short. This comprehensive review allowed me to pinpoint specific issues and inefficiencies. Based on these insights, I developed a set of recommendations focused on automating certain processes to address these shortcomings. My suggestions aimed at enhancing customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. I coordinated with the relevant teams to explore the feasibility of these recommendations, guiding the project from its analytical inception to proposing actionable, automated solutions.

Not only are they thriving in a community that doesn't always create space for them, but they are also showing black girls and women that they can reach the same heights of success.
