How would you plan and execute a successful back-to-school giveaway event on a college campus?

I would promote the event on TikTok and choose a high-traffic location on UCLA's campus, such as Bruin Walk or outside the student union during peak hours, to maximize visibility. To stop students in their tracks, I will set up an eye-catching display with the Dickinsons products and totes so students can see what is possible to win in the giveaway. I would create energy surrounding the event by filming a TikTok with the intro "Dickinson’s Witch Hazel is on campus with a back-to-school giveaway!" I would ask students, "Are you interested in answering quick trivia questions to win a tote full of Dickinson's essentials?" Then, I would film myself asking students the trivia questions and capturing their real reactions and excitement when they win a tote. For the students who don’t win, I’d highlight the bonus offer, showing how they can still score free full-size products just by posting on their IG Story and tagging @DickinsonsWitchHazel. Finally, I’d edit the video to be fast-paced and fun with text overlays, trending audio, and close-up shots of the products in action. In the caption and video, I’d tag @dickinsonswitchhazel, use the campaign hashtags, and clearly include how the products are "Available on Amazon.com." This way, the event creates both an engaging in-person experience on campus and an impactful effect online that boosts visibility for the brand.

What strategies would you use drive utilization of the limited offer?

In order to drive utilization, I would make sure to emphasize the usefulness of the offer and create excitement and urgency. I would use social media to showcase the fun and efficiency of ordering Sephora products through Uber Eats, through content such as GRWMs, Day in the Life, and product reviews. I would also highlight how it is a limited-time offer by providing countdowns and reminders. I would also spread the word on campus through group chats and campus communities. Finally, I would introduce the collaboration as an exclusive, must-try experience that no one is going to want to miss. I will emphasize how it is the easiest way to treat yourself or order last-minute gifts for loved ones. More people will be likely to try it and experience it before it is gone.
