Extra

Social Growth Lead

Extra Profile Image

what's one content idea that you think would drive people to sign up to extra's waitlist? Why?

A TikTok that shows real people reacting to Extra before it launches. Quick cuts of users saying one sentence each like: "Wait... this actually saves me money." "I wish I had this earlier." "This should already exist." Ends with: "We haven't launched yet. Join the waitlist." Why it works: Social proof converts better than concepts. People trust people, not promises. Seeing authentic reactions builds legitimacy, reduces skepticism, and makes the waitlist feel like early access to something already validated—not a gamble.

What strategies would you use to grow Extra's social media presence on TikTok? How would you measure success?

To grow Extra’s TikTok, I’d focus on culturally relevant, short-form content that feels native to the platform. This includes trend-based videos, storytelling, behind-the-scenes content, and consistent use of humor, hooks, and strong visuals within the first 2–3 seconds. I’d study what’s already performing in Extra’s niche, adapt trends quickly, and post consistently while testing formats (series, stitches, replies, and creator collaborations). I’d also prioritize community engagement by responding to comments with videos, encouraging UGC, and interacting with similar accounts to boost visibility. Success would be measured through engagement rate (likes, comments, shares), watch time and retention, follower growth, and how often content is saved or shared. Over time, I’d track which formats convert best and refine the strategy based on performance data.
