What's your video creation process? How do you usually get your inspirations?
My video creation process usually starts with real life moments. I get most of my inspiration from things I experience daily, whether it’s conversations with friends, challenges I am facing, or something funny or emotional that just happened. I always keep a list of random ideas in my notes app so I can come back to them when I have time to film. Once I have the idea, I think about the vibe I want—whether it’s calm and aesthetic or more fun and energetic. I pick music that fits the mood, then I record clips throughout my day or set up a short sit down video. I try not to overthink it because the most natural videos always do the best for me. Editing is my favorite part. I love putting clips together in a way that tells a story or gives people a certain feeling. My goal is always to make something that either feels relatable, uplifting, or real.

Tell me about a piece of content you made that got more engagement than usual. What do you think made it successful?
One piece of content I made that got more engagement than usual was a casual vlog style video I posted on Instagram and TikTok during my senior year. It showed a behind the scenes look at a day in my life as a student leader balancing classes, SGA duties, yearbook deadlines, and applying to college. What made it successful, I think, was how real and relatable it felt. No filters, just me being honest about my busy schedule, the stress, and the small wins that made it all worth it. People commented things like “This is literally me right now” and “I needed this reminder that I am not alone,” which let me know the content resonated. I think the key to its success was the authenticity and timing. It came at a moment when a lot of other students were feeling overwhelmed too, and I gave them something they could connect with emotionally. It reminded me that being relatable and vulnerable, especially during transitional moments like graduation or college move in, can really deepen engagement.
