Using trends, relevant hashtags, and interactive features like polls, quizzes, and reels can increase visibility and engagement. Collaborating with influencers or student ambassadors, sharing user-generated content, and posting at times when the audience is most active also helps attract and retain followers. Most importantly, maintaining an authentic and relatable voice keeps followers interested and encourages them to share the content with others.

One example I’ve analyzed is the “TikTok #DreamJob” campaign by Chipotle. I found it successful because it combined relatable content, user participation, and a clear call-to-action. The campaign encouraged users to create and share videos, leveraging TikTok trends to increase engagement and brand visibility. I observed how authentic, short-form content and peer-driven promotion helped the brand connect with Gen Z, and I learned the importance of aligning creative content with audience interests and platform trends.

I stay updated on the latest digital marketing trends by following industry blogs, newsletters, and thought leaders on platforms like LinkedIn and Twitter. I also participate in webinars, online courses, and communities focused on social media, influencer marketing, and content strategy. Additionally, I pay attention to emerging trends by observing what resonates with Gen Z and other target audiences, analyzing engagement metrics, and experimenting with new formats and tools.
