Through following any artist whose skill impresses me. Most top-performing artists follow at least a few trends to have their work reach farther and practice their skills. It also helps to follow a wide range of creators and circles. While many spheres of internet culture overlap, many others do not. Gamers and animators are going to overlap by virtue of wanting to see their favorite things brought to life or made into memes, but the gamers are less likely to be cinephiles or book worms than the animators because the media they engage with is going to be more active than passive.
