Describe your customer service experience.
I have hands-on customer service experience through my role as a Front-of-House Manager & Server at Mandarin Restaurant, where I worked in a fast-paced environment, ensuring every guest received timely and attentive service. I handled everything from setting up and clearing tables to processing bills, all while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor. Managing a full house, I delegated tasks to 5–6 hostesses and collaborated with managers to promote and coordinate large events with over 100 guests. This role sharpened my ability to remain calm under pressure, multitask effectively, and prioritize customer satisfaction above all. Additionally, through my work at the Sexual Assault Centre of McGill (SACOMSS), I’ve also developed a sensitive and empathetic approach to interpersonal interactions, providing safe and supportive environments for those in need.
