Family Weekend is a cherished tradition at SEMO, offering families a chance to experience university life alongside their students. The 2025 event includes a variety of activities such as the Pets and Petals festival, featuring pet adoptions and a Wiener Dog Race, and interactive experiences at Kent Library like custom button-making and a photo booth.  

Homecoming at SEMO is a vibrant celebration featuring a block party, academic showcases, and the inauguration of President Brad Hodson.  This event draws a diverse crowd of students, alumni, and faculty. 

As a Bumble Brand Ambassador, I would promote Bumble’s values of equality, respect, and empowerment by creating authentic, engaging experiences that highlight the brand’s mission. On campus, I would host events or pop-ups that encourage meaningful connections, like “Networking Nights” or self-confidence workshops, where attendees can practice healthy communication and build relationships in a safe, supportive environment. I would also leverage social media to share empowering stories, tips for respectful dating, and ways to use Bumble to make genuine connections, ensuring that the community sees Bumble not just as an app, but as a platform that prioritizes respect, inclusivity, and empowerment in every interaction.
