What is one resource that BBG could provide your club members?

One valuable resource that Built By Girls could provide for our club members is access to mentorship or career panels with women and non-binary professionals working in tech-related fields that intersect with psychology, such as user experience (UX) research, human–computer interaction, and digital mental health platforms. Many psychology students are interested in applying psychological principles to technology but are not always aware of the career pathways available to them. Hearing directly from professionals about how they entered these fields, what skills are most valuable, and how psychology can translate into tech careers would help our members better understand their opportunities. Providing mentorship opportunities, networking events, or informational resources about these interdisciplinary careers would allow our members to see how their psychology background can be applied in innovative STEM spaces while building connections that support their professional development.
