What's one thing about Formula Fig that made you want to apply? Be specific.

I truly appreciate the unique and innovative idea that Jessica and Anita had. So often beauty treatments are seen as pivotal to the feminine experience, but taking it further to build a unique shared experience is something that I greatly admire.

Describe how you manage your time when juggling multiple deadlines. Give a specific example

It’s about prioritization. Last year, I was a resident assistant in the dorms, an intern at a start-up, and focusing on finals. I was able to carve out planned time in my day to work on different tasks. In the morning I would study, after lunch I focused on my internship, and at night I completed my resident assistant duties. This way of having dedicated time for each, I don’t focus on just one task where it becomes overwhelming, rather I prioritize all.

Tell us about a time you taught yourself a new tool or skill without being asked. What was it, and how did you approach learning it?

I have been learning Spanish for going on four years. It is trial and error for testing out different methods and rating them. Seeing which stick and which don’t. I adapt my curriculum based on what works for me. I originally started with learning grammar, but dove deeper into reading to focus more on vocab and grammar in action rather than just sentence structure. Overall, I was able to focus on how I learned best and pivoted when something didn’t work.
