Share a time when you've been able to mobilize a group of people around a product, service, or cause you feel passionate about?

I recently completed an internship in Valencia, Spain to provide mental health care to families who didnt previously have access to it. I was discussing disparities in healthcare with a professor of mine and we later worked together with a neuroscience institute to plan this project. I completed 118 clinical hours working with patients, there were about 20 other members who joined us also seeing patients so I can confidently say we helped a community.

What do you think should change with the current state of social media?

I think the current state of social media perpetuates the toxic celebrity culture we see in the media already. There are "influencers" who dominate social media similarly to how celebrities dominate fashion and news media. Because of this, as times change and trends change those influences can become more out of touch despite the ways they grasp to their audience to stay relevant. All this to say that there is such a small pool of influencers at the top that there is no room or consideration for new people to come in, making social media become stale until you find something new to peak your interest.
