Here’s how I would approach building a partnership with a new brand in a thoughtful and strategic way:Research & Understand the Brand: Before reaching out, I’d thoroughly study the brand’s mission, products, target audience, tone, and past campaigns. This helps me tailor my approach and show that I genuinely align with their values.Identify Mutual Value: I’d think about what I can offer that fits their goals—whether it’s creating authentic content, reaching a specific audience, or showcasing products in a creative way. A partnership works best when both sides benefit.Craft a Personalized Pitch: Instead of a generic message, I’d create a short, engaging proposal that highlights:Who I am (student-athlete, content creator, etc.)Why I love their brandSpecific ideas for content or campaignsWhat I can bring to the table (authentic storytelling, engagement, aesthetic content)Show Proof of Value: Include examples of past campaigns or content that performed well, highlighting engagement, reach, or creativity. Concrete examples show the brand that I can deliver results.Propose Collaboration Ideas: Offer 2–3 creative concepts tailored to the brand, showing I’ve thought about how to represent them authentically while appealing to their audience.Build the Relationship: Approach it as a conversation, not just a transaction.
