Where is your current location? Do you have reliable Transporation?
I am currently studying abroad in Spain, but could do anything remote, and would be able to start in January in San Jose, California, for in-person selling.

Have you ever conducted a demo before? Have you done one in wholefoods before?
I have. Having been in numerous business classes before, I pitched a sample box product of my own to investors in my local neighborhood.
That process gave me hands-on experience presenting a product in a clear, engaging way, answering questions on the spot, and adapting my pitch depending on who I was speaking with. While I haven’t yet done a demo specifically in Whole Foods, I understand how important it is to create a warm, approachable atmosphere in a store setting. I’m confident that the skills I gained (being comfortable speaking to new people, quickly communicating a product’s value, and encouraging interest through sampling). I'm also sure I will translate that experience directly into engaging with shoppers at Whole Foods!

How do you approach engaging with shoppers in a demo setting?
There is a moment in bad product demos when everyone knows the speaker is in trouble. Something fails to load, or they blank on a certain aspect, and suddenly, they fall into a downward spiral of live troubleshooting. This is terribly sad for the company as its brand suffers in front of a crowd. There is a better way.
It's essential to understand how I would approach shoppers, with no reliance on technology, and keeping it concise and straightforward. I would do a test run before opening hours, practicing a pitch that solves a problem for numerous customers. Hate how bloated normal milk makes you feel? Are you tired of the same bland flavor? We have an alternative that you can launch into your lifestyle today.
I also focus on listening by asking light, open questions (“Have you tried pistachio milk before?”) so the shopper feels the interaction is a conversation rather than a sales pitch. My goal is to educate, but also to connect.
