What kind of brand content immediately turns you off as a consumer?

I hate it when influencers sound fake! This is the first thing that I realize, as it just feels like they are being forced to make a video for money/views. I swipe right away! When videos are super scripted, it makes it less authentic,, and I feel less inclined to purchase a product.

I’m also turned off by overly “perfect” aesthetics that feel unrealistic—like constant luxury lifestyles or content that ignores real responsibilities such as school or work. When a brand only shows an unattainable version of life, it feels disconnected and less relatable.

I also don't like it when brands ignore consumer feedback. The best brands interact with their consumers and followers!

If you had one week to introduce FORAH to young professionals, what would you do?

I would center Forah on using all of their products, so professionals can have a good sense of what Forah has to offer. I would incorporate these products into everyday routines, rather than just getting ready.

On day one, I’d post a “day in my life” video and casually weave FORAH into my routine so it doesn’t feel like an ad. I’d start my morning cleansing with the Clear Konjac Sponge, use the Dayglow Oil Serum as a mid-day refresh between classes, and throw on sunscreen before my afternoon walk. I’d also use the FORAH tote as my everyday school bag to show how the brand fits effortlessly into my daily life.

Later in the week, I’d have other McGill students try different FORAH products and share their raw, honest reactions. Getting real feedback from everyday users is essential so it doesn’t feel curated or biased, especially for young professionals. I’d film these reactions and share them online to highlight genuine opinions and real results.

Another key thing I’d highlight is that SPF isn’t just for hot or sunny climates. Montreal is the perfect example, as it gets extremely cold, there’s still sun exposure year-round. I’d emphasize FORAH’s SPF products and the importance of daily facial sunscreen by interviewing McGill students, asking how often they actually use SPF, and then educating them on why it matters. I would then emphasize how easy it is to include in their routine.

Finally, I would bring Forah into places that fit its branding, such as the gym, cafes, classes and outdoors. I would offer people the chance to try the products so they can experience what they feel like before a meeting/workout session.

In your own words, how would you describe FORAH to a friend who’s never heard of it?

FORAH is what happens when plants get really good at skincare - clean, calming, and actually effective.
