what excites you about travel?

The new perspective and outlook on life it gives me! I lived in Rome for a summer and solo traveled to Barcelona and it truly changed me as a person. I met so many amazing people and experienced things like dancing in the streets, sharing dinner with a stranger, swimming in Capri, and attending an all night music festival. These are things I never thought I'd be doing, especially so early in my life.

What social media platforms do you prefer for product promotion and why?

I prefer TikTok because the algorithm is more in your favor. For Instagram, your content mainly gets pushed out to your followers, but on TikTok you're able to reach a whole new group of people through hashtags, trending audios, or randomly on their FYP. You also can utilize TikTok Shop making it super easy for viewers to purchase the product as they're watching the video.

How would you create content that stands out for a retail brand?

When I worked with Cora as a Social Media Assistant, I experimented with a bunch of different ways to promote their period products. I think the most effective is when it appears naturally in content. For example, showcasing it as a part of your DIML vlog that way it doesn't seem too forced. It's also important to tie the brand to lifestyle content, so you can have a mix of content that showcases the actual product but also ties into a broader theme. For example, at Cora, I made content that showcased the period products, but also content that related to women's health and being on your period.
