Interview Questions
Lanolips
UGC Content Creator for Lanolips

Can you share an example of a recent UGC video you created for a beauty or retail brand, and what made it feel natural instead of overly scripted?
One of my recent beauty-focused UGC projects centered around incorporating a product into a realistic self-care routine rather than making the product the entire focus of the video. What made it feel natural was the storytelling approach—I showed how the product fit into an everyday moment, used authentic reactions, and focused on the overall experience

For a quick-turnaround project like this, how would you approach creating two distinct videos while keeping them aligned with the brand and your own content style?
I would first identify the core message the brand wants to communicate, then build two different concepts around it. One might focus more on storytelling or routine-based content, while the other could highlight the product through a different perspective or use case. My goal is to keep both videos visually cohesive and aligned with the brand while still making them feel fresh, authentic, and engaging for viewers.

How do you ensure your content feels authentic and engaging?
I make content feel authentic by focusing on real experiences rather than scripted sales messages. I like to show how a product naturally fits into my routine, share genuine reactions, and highlight the details that matter most to consumers. I combine storytelling, relatable moments, and visually engaging shots to create content that feels trustworthy, natural, and enjoyable to watch.
