Can you describe a time you created engaging content on TikTok or Instagram?

At Pandora, I created a TikTok idea with my coworkers that ended up getting 4.3 million views. It wasn’t overplanned, I just noticed what kind of content was already doing well on TikTok and thought about how we could turn something real from the store into a short, relatable moment. I pitched the idea, helped shape the concept, and we filmed it pretty quickly without overthinking it. What made it work was that it felt natural and fun, not like a scripted ad. People connected with it because it felt like real employees, not a brand trying too hard.

How do you stay up-to-date with social media trends?

I stay up to date pretty naturally because I’m already on my phone all the time, so I see trends as they’re actually happening, not after they’ve peaked. I pay attention to what keeps showing up on my feed across TikTok and Instagram especially formats, sounds, and hooks that get repeated in different ways. If I see something a few times, I’ll look at how people are using it differently instead of just copying it. I also notice what I don’t stop scrolling for, because that tells me just as much about what’s not working anymore. Being Gen Z helps too it’s less about researching trends and more about just being in the space daily and understanding what feels natural vs forced.
