Effective planning from the very beginning can go a long way. If I have a clear plan on which tasks to accomplish first or which gigs I can do with the resources I have, I will always be on track and not get distracted or get inefficient.

I usually list down all the tasks I have and weigh them as to urgency and importance. I will focus my attention and time on tasks that are urgent and important to me and do other things that are not urgent and important last. I also look at my tasks if there are things I can do simultaneously and those that can easily be done in a minute so i can have easy wins.
