How do you ensure your reviews are honest and constructive?
I always aim to make sure my reviews stay as unbiased as possible by using the same criteria for every product:
Performance & Results – does it actually do what it claims? (hydration, barrier support, smoothing, brightening)
• Ingredients & Skin Safety – are the ingredients skin-barrier friendly, suitable for sensitive skin, and backed by skincare science
• Feel & Experience – texture, absorption, scent, and how it feels to use daily
• Irritation & Tolerance – whether it causes breakouts, redness, or sensitivity
• Price & Value – does the quality match the price and accessibility
• Brand Values & Claims – vegan, cruelty-free, sustainability, and honest marketing
I use this basic form of criteria's to fairly rate products across those areas, so if something doesn’t hold up, it loses points. It keeps things fair, real, and helpful for both brands and any potential customers!

What qualities do you consider when reviewing beauty products?
Since my skin personality is slightly on the drier and more sensitive side, I like to focus on actual product performance, how it feels on the skin, and whether it truly delivers on what it promises. I also consider ingredients, sensitivity, price value, and whether it fits naturally into a real skincare routine!
