what's a creative way you would lead sampling efforts both on and off campus?

I would head up the sampling initiatives by integrating ColourPop fully into theatre culture and performance. On the university circuit, I would set up “Show-Ready Glam” sampling experiences during rehearsals, tech weekends, and performance weekends when the performers are actively applying their makeup and looking for a new product to add to their routine. The players would get to try out the colours and the long-wear formulas while LEDs are shining down on them.

I would also work with drama departments, dance squads, and vocal groups to put on theme prep nights such as “Opening Night Glow” or “Audition-Day Confidence” where the ColourPop products will be featured. These automatically provide the brand with organic buzz, word-of-mouth, and user-generated content.

Off campus, I would reinforce sampling via GRWM and backstage content on TikTok and Instagram, demonstrating how ColourPop works via intense rehearsals, hard work, and bright lighting. Highlighting performance as a direct result of sampling will cause ColourPop to be attributed with such values as confidence and creativity, which are highly prized within the theatrical community.

How would you engage your audience to promote ColourPop products?

I could attract my audience through the development of entertaining and trending content. Being a college student, I am aware of the factors which attract the attention of the audience, such as quick GRWM tutorials, before-and-after comparisons, and tutorials on using ColourPop products.

I would utilize TikTok and Instagram Reels and Story features to engage with current trends in beauty, but also show why ColourPop has such great shades and products. Another aspect would be using features such as polls and Q&A's.

On the university campus, I would personally promote ColourPop through word-of-mouth, make-up sessions with my friends, and the display of products at events, rehearsals, or get-together parties, demonstrating how ColourPop products easily fit into my university schedule. The aim would be to instill excitement and confidence in people and encourage them to experience ColourPop products for themselves.
