I am the social media executive of two student organizations right now. HawkHUB is an org dedicated to providing resources and food to low-income students on campus. We collect food from local businesses and then our volunteers distribute it to our two on-campus locations. We also do pop-ups with companies like Trader Joe's to give away produce and flowers at our dining hall. The Women's Center is a community space and organization dedicated to promoting a safe space for women of all kinds. We promote empowerment and intersectionality. This year I was a member of the Student Senate and created fun videos about our activities. Next year I will be a social media intern for my university's Center for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. I will also be taking a paid position as a video editor for my university's marketing endeavors.

I grew up going to marketing conferences with my mom (I ran around the tables collecting free merch and candy). Now, as the social media and marketing executive of three organizations at my university, I'm the one giving out free stuff! I love using a sense of humor and candor to connect with everyone I meet, and that is great online, but better in person! Tabling events at my university has been a great way for me to grow my live event work experience.
