To create certain moods and environments to match whatever I'm feeling or what I would like guess to feel if they are about to come over for a visit. It really is a tool to set a tone within yourself and within your environment and to help facilitate the goals you're trying to accomplish

I would remind people that national fragrance day isn't just about perfumes or cologne. It's about the relationship we have with scents. Whether people realize it or not and even whether they buy air fresheners or candles or perfumes or not they indeed are creating an engaging with sense on a daily basis. Whether they're making coffee in the morning or cutting into an orange and then peeling away the peel as a quick breakfast before heading out to work. But it's nothing like getting reacquainted with your olfactory system when springtime comes especially if you live in Northeast Ohio like I do. Winter can be a beautiful time of year but it is a time of hibernation and shut windows and doors because of the temperatures. The smells that might linger in during times of spring or summer or even fall or gone temporarily and after a few months of winter the house feels stuffy things smell stale even though you clean all the time. But then that first nice day like we just had this past week. It reached 52° one day which I know doesn't sound nice but everything is relative and we had just come out of some winter storms and almost two weeks of below 20° temperatures. One of the first things I did was open up a window in each room in my house. Gawd, it was almost intoxicating it was so good. Lol. National fragrance day is something that even if you're not aware of you should be aware of and it should be celebrated. National fragrance Day belongs to you belongs to your nose belongs to your olfactory system and how it all works together like a symphony

It's all about oil content baby! Lol. From my experience wax melts like luxury perfume are usually considered luxury or high-end or higher price because they have a higher level of oil within the ingredients which is what is needed to grab and hold on to send for longer periods of time. But also, there are very few things in life that can immediately elevate your mood like wonderful scents. Our olfactory Brain is really amazing as well as our memory and the way smells and scents can evoke a trip down memory lane. It's pretty incredible
