As a college student, despite studying medicine, I've always found the behind-the-scenes of research and program organization more alluring, namely because I absolutely love talking to and helping people in all the ways I can. I see this GIG as a great way to do just that- build my personal skills by talking and bonding with people while also developing my professional skills through managing, supporting, and contributing to the team goals at Pacifica Beauty.

It's always best to keep an open channel of communication that revolves around respect and comfort instead of just cold hard deadlines and reminders. I'd make sure that participants are comfortable with talking to me, and more at ease completing their devilerables and other tasks, so that it wouldn't feel as pressuring and overwhelming.

Two of the five gigs I've completed on Home from College utilized the workspace on the website instead of using a different platform. Even the ones that had other websites and programs(audio transcription or social media posting) would still use home from college for communicating and logging hours, which makes me very comfortable with the platform.
