What is your favorite marketing campaign you've seen?
My favorite marketing campaign is the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. The challenge started in 2014 in my hometown. I remember getting together with friends, taking turns pouring ice-cold water over each other's heads, doing the same to our parents, and posting it on Facebook. We saw the challenge grow and grow, but I didn't understand just how impactful it was. Millions of dollars have been donated to finding a cure by comedians, actors, athletes, and people across the globe. Eight years later the FDA approved a drug that slows the acceleration of the disease. Research continues to be funded from the proceeds gathered from this challenge. What was a fun afternoon for a good cause to my 13-year-old self was a showcase of how a good idea can bring people together for a greater cause.

Campus Marketing Lead
Describe a time you took a leadership role in your community.
I discovered a new club my freshman year at college that was dedicated to creating a space to express yourself and discuss stereotypes in society's beauty standards, while simultaneously starting conversations about mental health, self love, and body positivity. I joined the marketing committee of this club and for the past two years I've been the head of the committee. In this position I've led a small group of college students in running an Instagram and website, where we make graphics and post about club events and topics related to our club message. Working in this position has cemented the importance of communication, time management, the ability to not only get along with others but also be able to lead and step back when necessary, and social media analysis skills.
