I tend to create day in my life TikToks that are short clips of the day all put together. I feel like when it is short digestible content people tend to watch it more and stay till the end. As well as feeling like it is relatable and fun.

The Built by Girls mission is a powerful one. When I was in high school I was never really encouraged to pursue anything in STEM, it was a male dominated field and it felt like I wasn’t supported if I did want to take that route. I had one math teach though who told me that after 11th grade she barely sees anymore girls in her class once it wasn’t mandatory. I took an auto shop class and was the only girl there that I felt so out of place I dropped it the next week. I feel like women end up having to disregard certain career paths because they have to be the only woman there and that isn’t right. We should be able to be bold and feel like we have every right to be here just like every other person, everyone deserves to have that choice to pursue something they are interested in.
